In 2016 Erwin Krasnow, Bishop Cheen, and I collaborated on an article published in RBR+TVBR addressing common myths and misconceptions associated with radio and television deals. We have now developed an exclusive podcast series focused on these myths. The 10 part series originally appeared in RBR+TVBR. In this first episode, I discuss with Erwin, the co-chair of GSB’s communications group, the letter of intent … why it is not “just” a verbal assurance. It’s a pet peeve of Erwin’s, who laments many who view a letter of intent very casually. “They shouldn’t”, he urges broadcasters. “That’s dangerous,” he says.
